It spends the first thirty minutes focusing on the Rom part and it almost gets boring, but it eventually picks up and delivers on the Com part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RomComs generally have a similar premise but depending on who is writing and the context, they have their own distinct features, and this movie delivers it. Some scenes are unnecessary, it should have ended about ten minutes before it ends, but it does a good job overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sophie Alakija is truly making her mark and exploring genres, she features in a horror movie and now as lead in a RomCom, she is refreshing, I look forward to her expanding and exploring her skills. Bisola Ayeola is cast as the annoying ex, and she delivers in spades, including an annoying voice inflection, I was annoyed with her throughout the movie, and I think that is the plan of the writer and director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The movie does not boast of the best cinematography or a large cast, but it serves its purpose well to deliver a funny and romantic comedy.
